How to install and use the inverter

The inverter itself consumes part of the power when it works, therefore, its input power is greater than its output power. The efficiency of an inverter is the ratio of the inverter output power to the input power, i.e. the inverter efficiency is the output power over the input power. For example, if an inverter inputs 100 watts of DC power and outputs 90 watts of AC power, then its efficiency is 90%.

Use range

1. Using office equipment (e.g., computers, fax machines, printers, scanners, etc.);

2. Use of household appliances (e.g.: game consoles, DVDs, stereos, video cameras, electric fans, lighting fixtures, etc.)

3. or when needing to charge batteries (batteries for cell phones, electric shavers, digital cameras, camcorders, etc.);

How to install and use the inverter?

1) Place the converter switch in the OFF position, and then insert the cigar head into the cigarette lighter socket in the car, making sure it is in place and making good contact;

2) Make sure the power of all appliances is below the nominal power of G-ICE before use, insert the 220V plug of the appliances directly into the 220V socket at one end of the converter, and make sure the sum of the power of all connected appliances in both sockets is within the nominal power of G-ICE;?

3) Turn on the switch of the converter, the green indicator light is on, indicating normal operation.

4) The red indicator light is on, indicating that the converter is shut down due to overvoltage/undervoltage/overload/overtemperature.

5) In many cases, due to the limited output of the car cigarette lighter socket, it makes the converter alarm or shut down during normal use, then just start the vehicle or reduce the power consumption to restore normal.

Inverter use precautions

(1) The power of TV, monitor, motor, etc. reaches the peak when starting up. Although the converter can withstand the peak power of 2 times the nominal power, the peak power of some appliances with the required power may exceed the peak output power of the converter, triggering overload protection and current shutdown. This may happen when driving several appliances at the same time. In this case, you should first turn off the appliance switch, turn on the converter switch, and then turn on the appliance switches one by one, and should be the first to turn on the appliance with the highest peak power.

2) In the process of use, the battery voltage starts to drop, when the voltage at the DC input of the converter drops to 10.4-11V, the alarm will sound a peak sound, at this time the computer or other sensitive appliances should be turned off in time, if you ignore the alarm sound, the converter will automatically shut down when the voltage reaches 9.7-10.3V, so that the battery can be avoided to be over discharged, and the red indicator light will be on after the power protection shutdown;?

3) the vehicle should be started in time to charge the battery to prevent the power from failing and affecting the car starting and battery life;

(4) Although the converter does not have overvoltage protection function, the input voltage exceeds 16V, it may still damage the converter;

(5) After continuous use, the surface temperature of the casing will rise to 60℃, pay attention to the smooth airflow and objects susceptible to high temperature should be kept away.
